BYD Officially Launches Dealership Network in Sri Lanka

BYD, the world's largest electric vehicle manufacturer, has officially established its dealership network in Sri Lanka, marking a historic milestone for the country's EV market. The official launch took place in Colombo, with the Atto 3 SUV and the Seal sedan leading the lineup. The official import arrangement means Sri Lankan buyers can now access factory warranty, genuine spare parts, and authorized service centers across the island. The Atto 3 Extended Range is priced from Rs. 19.5 million, while the Seal starts from Rs. 24 million. BYD's entry is expected to accelerate EV adoption in Sri Lanka, particularly given the brand's Blade Battery technology which offers superior thermal stability — a critical concern for tropical climates.
